As far as I can remember:

Europress originally said but later realising that this could actually
hinder your chances of getting your game published changed the legal
issue so that if you were releasing a game you didn`t need to mention
Amos anywhere, only send them a copy. Then after a month if they chose
they could say that Amos was used to make your game
; or they could keep quiet ;-)

Mind you as Europress have now given up completely on Amos and Amigans I
don`t think you`d be in trouble if you didn`t bother.
